What is EMDR Therapy?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy is a proven method for helping people heal from emotional and psychological challenges, especially trauma. It uses specific techniques to help you process and heal from past traumas so you can move toward a brighter future.

Who Are EMDR Intensives For?

Our intensives are ideal for those ready to focus on their healing and make significant progress in a short time, including:

  • Veterans and Service Members: Addressing military-related trauma, transitions, and emotional challenges.

  • Parents Navigating Perinatal Loss: Offering compassionate care for those grieving miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss.

  • Frontline Workers and Leaders: Supporting first responders, healthcare professionals, and middle management navigating stress, burnout, and trauma.

Why Choose an EMDR Intensive?
Accelerated Progress: Experience weeks or months’ worth of therapy in just a few days.
Tailored to You: Every intensive is personalized to meet your unique goals and challenges.
Convenience: Flexible scheduling and the choice of in-person or virtual sessions make it easy to fit healing into your life.

  • Will I feel emotionally drained after an EMDR Intensive?
It’s normal to feel tired after intensive therapy, as it’s deep emotional work. However, most clients also report a sense of relief and accomplishment. We’ll discuss self-care strategies to help you recover and integrate what you’ve processed.
  • Can EMDR Intensives help with anxiety or depression?
Yes, EMDR is effective for a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, and stress, especially when rooted in unresolved trauma. Your consultation will help us determine if this approach is right for your situation.
  • What are EMDR Intensives?
EMDR Intensives are extended therapy sessions designed for deep, focused healing from trauma and emotional distress. Unlike standard one-hour therapy sessions, these intensives last up to 3 hours, allowing for a more immersive and thorough experience. This extended time helps you achieve meaningful breakthroughs and significant progress in a shorter period. Why Choose EMDR Intensives? Deep Healing The extended session provides the time and space needed to address complex trauma with care and depth, giving you a comprehensive path to recovery. Accelerated Progress Make strides in days rather than months. With more time dedicated to therapy, you’ll experience faster, more impactful results. Uninterrupted Focus Receive one-on-one, personalized care with no interruptions, ensuring that every moment of the session is tailored to your specific needs. Convenience Schedule sessions that fit your life. Intensives minimize disruptions, offering a flexible way to prioritize your mental health.
