The Silent War
Advanced EMDR for racial trauma and moral injury. Some of your military and first responder clients carry wounds they've never named in session. This training gives you the language, the assessment, and the case conceptualization to bring them into the room.
Taught by Dr. Arielle N. Jordan, PhD, LCPC, LPC, NCC. U.S. Army, 2008 to 2017. EMDRIA Approved Consultant.

For EMDR clinicians serving people in uniform.
Combat trauma often gets the attention. Racial trauma and moral injury can sit right underneath it, unnamed.
You work with service members and veterans
And you've noticed that combat trauma doesn't explain everything you're hearing.
You serve first responders
Police, fire, EMS, and dispatch clients who carry moral injury alongside the calls.
You want to talk about race with skill
And you want a structured way to open that conversation instead of waiting for the client to bring it up.
What you'll be able to do
- Recognize how racial trauma and moral injury show up in military and first responder clients, and how they overlap
- Introduce the Racial Trauma Checklist, a 12-item, six-domain tool, without putting clients on the spot
- Use what clients share to shape your case conceptualization
- Bring it all into your EMDR treatment planning, from history taking to targets
Taught by someone who has worn the uniform
